Private taxi from Beirut and Beirut airport

Taxi from Beirut to Tripoli

Tripoli, Lebanon’s second city, is about 85 km north of Beirut. We drive you there for business, family visits, or a day in the old city, and bring you back when you are done.

The Drive

The drive from Beirut to Tripoli

The whole route is on the coastal highway: past Jounieh, Byblos, and Batroun, then into Tripoli. Without heavy traffic it takes about an hour and a half; the slow parts are usually Jounieh on the way out and the city entrance in Tripoli.

From Beirut airport, count on an hour and a half or more. Before you travel, check your own government’s current travel advice for northern Lebanon (for example the UK advice for Lebanon), as some countries list parts of Tripoli separately.
