Taxi from Beirut to Byblos
Byblos (Jbeil) is about 40 km north of Beirut on the coastal highway. We pick you up at your hotel, home, or the airport and drive you straight to the old town, with the price agreed on WhatsApp before the ride.
The drive from Beirut to Byblos
The route follows the coastal highway north through Dbayeh and Jounieh. Outside rush hour the drive takes 45 minutes to an hour. The Jounieh stretch is where traffic builds up, mostly on weekday mornings, late afternoons, and summer weekends.
Beirut airport is south of the city, so from the airport you also cross Beirut: about an hour in total with light traffic, more at busy times. The driver can drop you near the old souk, a short walk from the castle and the harbour.
Where people usually ask to go
